Aidana is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan. She previously completed her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2021. She is leading the EUPHORIA study, a qualitative study exploring how ethnically diverse women experience sexual pleasure and if these experiences are associated with mindfulness. Her research interests include understanding how biological, sociocultural, and psychophysiological factors impact reproductive and sexual health. In the future, she plans to pursue a doctorate degree in women’s and children’s health and to continue advocating for sexual health education.
