Evaluation of Barriers Healthcare Providers Face in Managing Sexual Dysfunction and Genito-Pelvic Pain
Research purpose:
This study aims to identify barriers faced by healthcare providers in assessing and managing female sexual dysfunction & genito-pelvic pain.
Research procedure:
If you choose to participate in this research study, you will:
1) Complete a 10-15 minute survey
2) Have the option to sign up for a focus group to further discuss barriers identified.
3) Every participant of the survey will be entered into a lottery, with a 1 in 10 chance of winning $500 CAD. Completion of the survey is not required to be eligible for the lottery.
Who can participate?
Any healthcare provider in Canada including but not limited to primary care practitioners, obstetricians, gynaecologists, psychiatrists, urologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, midwives, physiotherapists, psychologists.
When does this study take place?
Recruitment is currently ongoing and will close in March 2026.
