Evaluating AI-Chatbots in an Online Intervention for Female Sexual Dysfunction
Study Purpose:
Do you have low sexual desire or sexual difficulties? We’re testing a digital health tool called eSense, which is designed to address sexual difficulties in women. eSense has been clinically tested and shown to be effective. Now, we’re adding an AI (artificial intelligence) chatbot to see how it can improve and influence the eSense experience.
Research Procedure:
1. Express interest in the study.
2. A research coordinator will contact you to schedule a screening call.
3. Complete the screening call to assess eligibility.
4. Complete an initial questionnaire.
5. Be assigned an AI-chatbot or a human navigator (both provide support throughout eSense)
6. Work through 8 modules of eSense in 8-12 weeks.
*If you are assigned a human navigator, you will attend weekly, 15-minute online check-in meetings with them throughout eSense.
*If you are assigned an AI-chatbot navigator, you may be invited to take part in an optional interview regarding your experience and thoughts
7. Complete a final questionnaire.
