Postdoctoral Position in Women’s Sexual Health

The Sexual Health Research Laboratory (www.brottolab.com) is at the University of British Columbia within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Principal Investigator is Dr. Lori Brotto, a Professor in the Department and Canada Research Chair in Women’s Sexual Health.

Full-time/part-time: full-time

Anticipated starting Date: Fall 2021 (flexible)

Work Location: Vancouver General Hospital and remote

Educational requirements/qualifications and experience: Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Public Health, or a related field by the time they start the position.

Position Summary: This postdoctoral work opportunity will be in the area of co-leading a randomized controlled trial of a digital health platform as part of a CIHR funded project grant. The postdoc will be co-supervised by Dr. Brotto and Dr. Kyle Stephenson from Willamette University and will join a large team of graduate students, research staff, a biostatistician, and junior trainee volunteers. This position will provide many opportunities to gain experience in leading a randomized controlled trial, supervising junior staff and trainee in all aspects of study design, recruitment, data collection, database management, and writing. Candidates with prior research experience in sexual health and difficulties will be preferred.
