Shahrazad is a third year Integrated Science student majoring in Neuroscience and Physiology. She is currently working on VIVID, investigating the use of VR exposure therapy as a potential treatment for vaginismus. She is also a research assistant with the Psychopathology Lifespan and Neuropsychology (PLAN) Lab at UBCO, investigating body image dissatisfaction in Asian individuals. Her research interests include neuropsychology, virtual reality, eating disorders, and the physical manifestations of psychological disorders. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career as a clinician. Shahrazad is excited to develop her research skills with the UBC SHR team.
